I Think I Can Survive :)

Well, after braving town, a hail/snow storm, and getting rid of our kittens I’m doing better.  Our cat had kittens exactly six weeks ago and my husband took them to work to give away.  I think we are down to 1 kitten and someone had already mentioned interest.

I got myself and the kids ready and to town by 10:30.  That’s a miracle since we all took a shower and had breakfast before we left.  The medicine for the dogs was ~$37.00.  It’s still cheaper than the vet but holy cow.  I stirred their pills up in some wet food and they chowed down.  I have them all outside now to their business.

Oh and the snow/hail storm.  We are told we live in the desert but on May 5 we are getting snow.  I see something seriously wrong with that.  So I have to make sure the house is cleaned up cuz there will be no outside birthday party for this boy.  I picked up some of my pictures while I was in town.  I attached a picture of one of my turtles. X

A Little Hopeful

I had dreams all night of worms coming out of dogs butts.  I’m thoroughly haunted by this.  It’s not as bad as when Rachel got lice 3 years ago March but pretty darn close.

So, my husband and I researched worms and all that and found out it was a tapeworm.  Yippee..not!!  Everything I have read says not to treat over the counter but I have no choice.  We are poorer than dirt.  Well, maybe not that bad but probably darn close.  So, I’m going to get the over the counter stuff and treat all 3 dogs and both cats.  Apparently, it has a flea connection so all 5 are getting flea collars too.  It’s just soo gross.  I’ve cleaned their kennels.  Thank God, they sleep in kennels or I’d be scrubbing the entire house.  As soon as I get them treated then I can focus on Matthew’s party this evening.  Luckily, all the shopping for that is done or I’d go mad  eek  X
