Mother’s Day

I didn’t have any of my kids today.    Lauren & Austin are, of course, with their mother.   We are going to go up and see them next weekend.  Since I want to spend that time with all 4 of the kids to celebrate my 30th birthday, I went ahead and let my kids keep their normal weekend routine.  That meant that I didn’t have my babies.  Rachel made it home at about 6 this evening so I got my present at that time.  I got some new photo albums (which I asked for), a watch with a green face (green is my fav color!) and a bunch of great cards.   

I ended up spending my day cleaning.  My hubby whines a lot about how cramped our home is.  Now that we are looking at the option of finding a bigger home I realized just what he was talking about.  We squeezed two complete households in the house…we really need to spread this stuff out!! 

This week is going to be pretty busy.  I have a lot of filing to do at work since we have auditors coming in about a month.  We also have two pretty big meetings this week.  I don’t have to go but I have to do a lot of prep work for them.  The kids are also winding down the school year so they have field trips and things wrapping up.  My little brother is supposed to be coming into town from college on Wednesday for a few days.  My mom is wanting to do a dinner with him before he heads back.  Then I have to start prepping for our trip to see the kids on Wednesday since we leave around noonish on Friday.  I’m so ready to go. I miss Lauren and Austin a lot!  X
