And the verdict is…

…strep throat!    I could always use a 5 day weekend but this is not the way I’d choose to get one.  So now I have to watch the kids because they get stuff so easy.  My hubby says that his throat has been feeling itchy all morning.  He really doesn’t like me right now.

So now I’m trying to figure out if I should take all 3 of the drugs she gave me at the same time or space them out.  Since taking all 3 may knock me out, and kids will be home in two hours, I’m going to opt for spacing them out.  Hmmm…that seemed like such a hard dilemma when I started typing this.

BTW…I’m no longer on my hubby’s computer.  Instead I’m on my laptop on his side of the bed…lol!!

Sick day

I’m out sick today.  I think I have strep.  I’m been trying to deny that I was getting it since Tuesday but when I woke up this morning there was no more denying it.  I get it so much I just know the feeling.  I have my doctor’s appointment at 11:15 to see if it really is.   

At least now Matt doesn’t have to go to his daycare.  He is getting used to it more now though.  He took his sweet time leaving yesterday.  He’s been going to the same daycare since he was about 4.  She is an awesome woman.  She adopted a brain damaged boy when the boy was about 11.  He is now probably around 28 and still lives with them.  When I was interviewing the licensed in-home daycares in our area she was the one woman who didn’t flinch when I mentioned that Matthew was mentally handicapped.  She embraced the idea and asked for a copy of his IEP so she could help him out with that stuff!!   

Rachel is happy too.  She gets to walk home with her friends and hang out in her room instead of hanging in the conference room at my work watching tv.   

Well, I’m going to go lay down for a bit cuz sitting here is exhausting.  Plus my hubby told me to get off his computer cuz I’m spreading my germs all over it.  I’m so loved…lol.
