Good Weekend

We got one of my step-children home on Saturday.  I’m so happy they are slowly getting home.  Lauren will be home this next Saturday.  She is away at girls camp this week.  She is doing a 2 1/2 day hike to start out the week.  I do not envy her!! 

Rachel and I got to spend some quality mommy and daughter time Friday night and Saturday morning.  She really needed it.  Being the youngest is not easy on her.  Kevin and I can always tell when she feels she is not getting enough of our attention so we do the best we can to pull her out of the pack and spend some one-on-one time with her. 

Sunday I got to finally meet my new nephew.  He was born January 25 and all I’ve gotten is pictures of him because they live 9 hours away.  He is so incredibly handsome and just the sweetest baby.  My brother and his wife got lucky . I think all the dads had a good father’s day too.  Everyone seemed happy and content.
