I was perusing my fellow bloggers sites and came across some awesome news on AutismVox. Those Chicken Soup folks are at it again with a focus on special needs kids. So if you like the Chicken Soup books check out: Chicken Soup for the Soul: Children with Special Needs: Stories of Love and Understanding for Those Who Care for Children with Disabilities.
It’s Labor Day. And amazingly God has graced me with only 1 child and a snoozing husband. Not the Labor Day I
imagined but I’ll take it. Kevin was up late playing WoW so he is sleeping in on his last day of vacation. Matthew has been gone on respite. He’ll get home at some point today. Kevin went last night to drop Lauren for the night with Grandma J. Austin went along for the ride but decided he wanted to spend the night with Grandpa J when he saw that he was watching the military channel.
So this morning it is very quiet. Rachel is sitting here watching Unaccompanied Minors for the second time in 12 hours. It’s a cute flick. I’m taking a moment to blog and then I have to hit the books. I have a little reading to do for English. One more section of Math to do. And I need to call my teacher for Customer Relations and see what we did Thursday and see what I have to do for this Thursday. And I’m doing laundry. Lots and lots of laundry.
It’s been relaxing and productive. I’m not ready to go back to work but only because we have federal examiners here all next week. YUCK!! So this week at work will be crazy. Well, off to hit the books. Hope the holiday has been good for you all.
