Reading & Sharing

I love being in another room and listen to my children interact. 

This morning Rachel is in the living room with Matthew.  I got a bunch of Halloween books at the library a few weeks back.  I read some of them to Matthew last night.  I didn’t realize that Rachel must have been listening to me read them to him. 

She is currently reading a book called Porkenstein.  She is reading it exactly like I read it to him.  She is using the same inflection on certain words.  She is asking all the same questions. 

It’s an awesome feeling when your child mimics you!!
