Conversations
Matty has been speaking clearer and clearer every day. Having Austin & Lauren is helping his speech incredibly. Here are a couple of the crazy things we are hearing in our house from him!!

Lauren: Ugghhh!!
Kevin: What happened??
Matty: I stuck her with my foot!!
(Lauren had been picking on Matt all morning. So when she went to jump up on the bed he softly kicked her in the tummy. They wound up in a heap of giggles.)

We like to give the kids options on some things. So we ask Matt if he wants this or that. He will say that. Then we test if he really does. We will ask if he wants that or this. If he says this then he is repeating. If he says that then he knows what he wants. Well, Rachel felt she was a big girl and would make him breakfast.
Rachel: Matt, do you want cereal or waffles.
Matt: Waffles.
Rachel: Ok. Do you want cereal or waffles?
Matt: Waffles.
Rachel: Umm….do you want pancakes or waffles?
Matt: (Silence! He knows how this game works )
