Gimme that Groundhog

I’m not real happy with Punxsutawney Phil and his predictions.  Yesterday, our paper stated that we have had 281% more precipitation than normal. 

281%!!!

And guess what it is doing right now!?  Yep, it’s snowing.  AGAIN. (3 more inches…expecting 4-8 more) And the schools are delayed.  AGAIN.  And I bet they get cancelled.  AGAIN. 

I had planned on going in to work tomorrow.  It would be my last day.  But now I’m not so sure if I’d make it there.  Plus, I’m trying like hell to get over this cold before my surgery Tuesday.  And this cold has had me down for days so I haven’t had a chance to clean my house or get ahead of my homework like I’ve wanted.  (Sigh)

Nothing new on if my mom will be with me on Wednesday at the hospital.  We went over to watch the Super Bowl with her today.  She didn’t even mention it to me.  She sorta mentioned it to Kevin but it sounded to him like she hadn’t even checked to see what was going on that day.  I soo hope she doesn’t.  Seriously, I think I’m going to call her in the morning and just ask her to stay away from the hospital.  I won’t need that kind of stress.  I only want those whom I’m important to, to be there.  Not those I burden.
