NO pain!

This morning, I had my 1st post-op appointment since I had my hysterectomy three weeks ago. 

The drive to my doctor was sooo bumpy.  We have a nice newer cushy van but the seats could do nothing against the bumps in the road.  It was the longest 40 minutes up and back. 

But the appointment went fantastic.  My healing and pain is right on track.  My ovaries still haven’t kicked back in so she put me on Premarin (estrogen) until my next post-op appointment. 

I can now do light house work and begin to use the treadmill as long as I don’t use the incline. 

Guess what the best part was!  She pushed on various parts of my tummy and it didn’t hurt.  For years before my hysterectomy it ALWAYS hurt.  But this time she pushed on six or seven various points and there was NO pain!  It’s one of those “scream it from the mountain top” moments.  I’m sooo happy.  So very very happy. 

I go back March 17.  She thinks she will be able to give me a clean bill of health.  I will then be able to go back to work part time for a week and then full time from then on.
