Find it!

I ran to the grocery store to get some last minute items.  Most of it was for a Strawberry Swirl Cake I’m making for Easter.  One of the items was cream cheese. When I got home and got the ingredients ready to make the cake I realized that the sour cream was missing.  I searched in all the cupboards to see if it got put in the wrong spot.  I checked the back of the van to see if it rolled out of the bag. Nothing.  I even checked the bathroom to see if I set it down in there when I went to take my contacts out.  Nope.

So I asked the girl if by chance they helped me put the groceries away.  They are notorious for putting things in the wrong spot.  Nope.  Didn’t help me. 

Matty finally had enough of watching me flit around the house searching for it.  He decided it was time to step in and give me his advice.

“Mom did you check the lost and found!”

Why didn’t I think of that!?

BTW….I never did find it.  I’m sure the checker set it aside to bag it and never did.  She was checking and bagging so she was a little overwhelmed. I never noticed it either so I’m just as guilty.  Kevin is going to stop by and grab me some.  He is sooo good to me.  I would hate me be now!
