I found a lot of fragile x news links on the web lately. I know a lot of my visitors work with autism. I also stumbled upon a one stop place for great autism news articles at CNN.
WOMAN’S £40,000 FOR DEATH THREAT ~ A woman was awarded compensation after she received death threats from her FXS coworker. Another new story on it is also here.
On the flip side of that we have a young man who is totally digging his Sonic job and the customers love him ~ Anderson man shows others his definition of success.
Being on Stage Raises their Self-Esteem ~ this news article is about a group of developmentally disabled individuals that are in a play of “Footloose.”
Man in 10,500 mile Charity Ride ~ Could you imagine riding your bike from one end of your country to another?? Well this guy is riding his from the UK to New Zealand for cystic fibrosis and fragile x! He is not the only one with this idea. Siggsi from fragile x pedition plans to start in August to go from the top of the world to the bottom to raise money and awareness of fragile x. He is doing it in honor of his beautiful niece.
Local Women bring fragile X message to washington ~ Holly Roos and her mother discuss their genetic legacy and their recent trip to Washington. Holly recently had a TIME interview posted in their magazine.
