None of THAT!

We had Matt’s birthday today. I’ll try to post some pics tomorrow night of his presents and stuff.  The people pics will be on our Myspace and on our Shutterfly for those of you who have access. 

One of the funniest moments involved his birthday card.  It was more funny for us than him but it was hilarious. 

I bought him a card that sang the song of off Shrek, Smashmouth’s All Star. 

Matty’s LOVES Shrek so I thought this birthday card would be a hit.  Ummm…I was sooo wrong.  He HATED it!!  Cards are not supposed to play music.  As soon as it started playing, he started throwing things at Kevin.  Poor Kevin didn’t even buy the card but I guess he looked like a good target.  We would close the card and he would stop throwing stuff.  We would open it and stuff would fly at Kevin again.  We laughed so darn hard.  We opened and closed that card about 4 times.

He put his head under the table and he would not get up and blow out his birthday candles until he knew that the card was put away and far away from him.  This card HAS to go in his keepsake stuff.  It will be something we will remember forever.  I wish I could have recorded it but I was laughing too hard.  Why does the good stuff have to be so stinkin’ funny?!
