Librarian apology

…wasn’t much of an apology.  But I’m letting the situation go because Rachel is content.

Rachel’s teacher wasn’t in school today.  She had meetings and some appointments.  But she came to the school at 3 to take Rachel to the library so she could turn in her book. 

The librarian told her that she was having a bad day yesterday.  She also told her that she wasn’t mad at her.  And that was about it.

So it was not an apology by any means but Rachel is appeased so I will let it go.  Thankfully, she will attend a different school next year with a different librarian.

    Wow. I am glad the situation is resolved to where she feels comfortable. When M was in school we had a meeting wtih all the people like librarians, gym teachers, volunteers etc. so that they were aware. I attended and it went really well. Some never “get it” though no matter what you do.

    On the plus side, your daughter’s teacher sounds fantastic! I’m sorry that the librarian was a pill though :/

    Hi there. I am sorry your daughter and your family had to go through this. I am surprised that the librarian did not REALLY apologize, but am glad to read your daughter feels better. Thank you for sharing.
