Did the ear piercing hurt? I have always wondered if they hurt there. Glad the birthday was a success.
Lauren seemed to think so. The lady asked if she wanted to do the cartilage in her other ear. I thought the girl was going to jump up and run like the wind. One was plenty for her!

Do you know that in my country, we have ear piercings done when we are young? I had mine done when I was two and then again at five. So now I have two holes in each ear, and some days, I have to decide- should I put one or two earrings?
Lauren is one brave girl, though. Piercing the cartilage hurts more than just skin, and even I wouldn’t do that! Happy Sweet 16th again, Lauren! And to you, Beth, you really are one great momma!
It’s a common practice in the USA to pierce our baby girls ears as infants. Lauren’s mom just didn’t want her to do it until she was a teen. I wanted to do Rachel’s as an infant but her father wanted to wait and let her decide to have it done. So she was about 5 when she got hers pierced.

Looks like a fantastic time was had by all!!! Lauren is much braver than I am with getting the cartilage pierced. The write-up of the party was great!! It made me feel like I was there having lots of fun girl-time.
I have three ear piercings in each ear, and I’d love to get back into wearing earrings again. Problem is that when I do wear earrings, my ears get all hot, red, and swollen. I think I need to go with either gold posts or hypoallergenic. I have no idea.

The piercing isn’t to bad I THINK right there. Piercings are becoming more and more popular now days. I love them.
