Hello,

My name is Michael Clift and I have a 12 year old nephew (Matthew) that has Fragile X. I would do anything in the world to help him. Fragile X is the most common cause of inherited mental impairment.

With the help of FRAXA-The Fragile X Research Foundation I have been able to create Team FRAXA. Our members participate in athletic events to benefit more than their own health. With every step they help the FRAXA Research Foundation get closer to a cure.

Team FRAXA has partnered up with the Marine Corp Marathon for our first charity campaign. The running of the 2008 Marine Corp Marathon will be held in Washington D.C. on October 26th, 2008. This year’s race sold out in 5 days. Not to worry!! Team FRAXA has been given 25 race slots and you a chance to run for a great cause in this premiere event.
