Sweetie, you might need the HRT for a while to get your hormones back on track. And it's not the end of the world to be on replacement hormones at 31. I'm 38, have one ovary left after my hysterectomy in November last year, and I do feel a huge difference when I forget to take one of my estradiol pills.

You know you can e-mail me any time about this. I just HATE seeing you in pain.

I did the HRT right after my hysterectomy and it was fine. I don't mind being on HRT for a small amount of time. I am scared of the health consequences of taking them for life. :(

Are they on both ovaries? I had one ovary taken out and have been doing fine with just one. That may buy you some time. Surgery for one ovary is nothing compared to what you just went through. If they are on both. Ugh. I know your pain. I pray every day my endo does not come back. Sometimes I still have stabs of pain where they removed a huge patch of endo and I freak out. What a mess. There are no really good options, it seems.

Good luck at your next appointment.

The ultrasound shows it only on one. But it hurts every month when my "period" should be. So I wonder since it hurts every month. I hope its only 1 but I'm worried.
