Not right

When I had surgery they put a breathing tube down my throat.  My throat is really sore now.  When I talk it sounds really raspy.  And I have to speak softly because if I don’t my ribs hurt. 

Well, Matty finds all of this hilarous!! Everytime I talk he looks at the floor and just giggles and giggles. 

And he won’t do what I ask him to do.  I told him 3 times this morning to go get on the potty.  He never budged.  I finally had to wake up Kevin so he could tell Matty. 

Mom is just not Mom without the right voice.

    i know! i lost my voice four times this past winter and the kids at school just ignored my flapping arms and lame threats. SOOOO happy to hear you are feeling better.

    So glad to hear the surgery went well!!!! I’m so glad you will get relief and once you heal you will be you again. So happy to see a smiley today!

    Oh, yeah. I know about that. M hates it when my voice is different. She won’t look at me and gets very emotional. I am glad he can see some humor in it at least.
