Matt’s In Love

Matty spent his weekend in love with everything.

Saturday morning I was in the kitchen getting his routine breakfast: waffles and milk.  I shook it up a little bit and added a side of sliced strawberries and chocolate mix to his milk.  He repeated over and over (gotta love that perseveration)

I looove strawberries, Mom.
I really love chocolate mix.

Later on in the day he saw the cover of a vampire movie we were gonna watch after he went to bed.

Ewww scary.  I love scary movies.

The kid wouldn’t know a scary movie from Shrek.  He’s never seen one

Then one of Kevin’s customer’s gave him this gigantic zucchini.  Matty kept calling it an avocado.

Mmmm.  I love avocado’s mom. 

That’s not an avocado Matt.  That’s a zucchini.

I loooove zucchini.

We had that conversation at least 5 times.

I’m not sure why he is feeling so lovey dovey but it will be interesting how long this trend holds and what else he just “looooves”
