.5 of an update

Lauren texted me earlier to let me know that they put her on a waitlist to change out her classes. She is bored out of her mind today. Most classes are doing the whole thing on what the class is about, rules, blah, blah, blah. Then they finish halfway through the class.
I emailed Matty’s teacher. She said he is doing great. Phew. I feel better. She also said he was up for a reevaluation. I asked her what exactly that all entailed. She hasn’t responded yet. If they want to test his skills, I’m game. If they want to do an IQ test, then, no way. Those things don’t gauge squat!
I will probably hear from the other two in an hour or so when school lets out.

Hmm we steer well clear of the IQ’s too. Hope you don’t have to wait too long.
Cheers

We’ve put the school on notice that IQ testing is not something we’ll ever sign off on as well.

Matt’s teachers may know his IQ number….we’ve had him tested a couple of times… but there are sooooo many other things that are much more important to know about him than that! His number falls in the mild range, I’m not sure how, because I KNOW he doesn’t cooperate during testing!
