Onto Other Realities…

So I chopped off my hair Saturday.  And I’m kinda wondering if my hair just massively sucked before and I wasn’t aware of it.  My husband “really liked the way it looked on me.”  My coworkers “love it.”  One of them even wants to run down and get hers chopped off now.  One oblivious dude even noticed.  I don’t get it.  But now I’m worried.  Have I been walking around for months looking…grotesque!!

Potty Room Privacy

The US is an independent nation.  I don’t just mean the nation itself.  I’m talking about the people.  We are a very independent group.  We pride independent achievements where other nations pride the group. 

So while I was in the restroom this morning that got me to thinking.  Why am I sitting here listening to the old lady next to me pee and fart.  We are independent.  Sharing isn’t something we do too well.  And that is not something I want to share with her.  And I’m sure first thing on a Monday morning she doesn’t want to hear me pee.

One would think in such an independent nation something so personal, like using the restroom, could be done in a soundproof room.  Don’t you think so too??
