Weekly Focus
Outside My Window… it is really really dark
I am thinking… when did I get so fat. I only have one pair of jeans that fit me right now. Before my last surgery I had two. Thank God I won’t have any more surgeries cuz I might be left with none!
I am thankful for… getting some SSI money on Saturday. We really needed it.
From the kitchen… I can smell the bacon that Kevin is cooking for our dinner. I love his cooking. He is amazing!
I am wearing… a white cami and my green polka dotted pj pants. I’m roasting…can we say…hot flash!
I am creating… nothing. Though I should be thinking about a Christmas project for our family craft xmas.
I am going… to plan my week as soon as we are done eating. I have some paperwork I need to finish up for school lunches and get some bills set up online to be paid on payday.
I am reading… Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt by Anne Rice. I am loving this book. It is fiction. It is written in Jesus’ point of view as a 9 year old child.
I am hoping… for a calm and pleasant week that is productive and fulfilling. Is that too much to ask
I am hearing… Matty smacking on a piece of bacon that Kevin gave him. I don’t he will ever chew quietly.
Around the house… is a ton of laundry. I’ve been working on it for days. I can almost see the end in sight. ALMOST!
One of my favorite things… is doing family activities. We went out to the pumpkin patch today. It is Matt’s favorite thing to do out of the whole year. I realized today that it is probably because of the tractors. He loves tractors!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
- put gas in the van
- finish my book
- get 40 hours in at work
- Maybe put together a Christmas present plan for the kids. We won’t be buying gifts just to buy stuff this year. With money as tight as it is we will be buying presents of necessity and maybe 1 fun gift. So I need to write down what the kids need.
