Pimples or Rash!?

Part of Matt’s fragile x is that he doesn’t feel pain.  This also means that if he is itchy he doesn’t tell us. 

This morning he got home from his respite weekend with his grandparents.  I noticed he had little pimples on his chin.  I wasn’t too surprised.  With all the candy over the weekend he probably ate and the fact that he has his hands on his face I expected a pimple or two.

I took him to the bathroom to use his Noxzema wipes on him.  I noticed he had some along his jawline too. 

“Wow, how much sugar did they give him,” I wondered.

Then I noticed that he had to little pimples around his eye.  Okay, now that is a new one.  Pimples on the eyelids just don’t normally happen. 

I went ahead and cleaned him up with the wipe and shipped him off to school.  I really should have given him a Benadryl but didn’t think of that until after he got to school.  Plus I don’t want him going through the school day being sluggish if there is no need.  I did zip an email to his teacher giving her a heads up.

But now I’m curious.  Is it a rash or just a few pimples?
