Problem or Normal?
November 4, 2008
9:25 a.m. ~ I started bleeding last night. Totally caught me by surprise. No tummy cramps or anything. It’s been 3 1/2 months since my ovaries were removed. I woke up this morning with the tummy cramps and a little bit of shooting pain. I called my ob-gyn as soon as they opened. The nurse was going to wrangle the doc as soon as she came in. Still waiting to see what she wants to do.
2:20 pm. ~ So I’ve not heard a squeak from my doc. But I’m not as worried as I was. The bleeding has slowed significantly and though my head is a little foggy, I’m not cramping anymore. Yeah. Of course I did leave my cell phone at the restaurant when Kevin and I went and had lunch. (Sigh) So my doc will call now that I’m not babysitting my phone. Thankfully my hubby rocks and he is going to go by the restaurant and fetch it for me.
4:24 pm ~ I don’t think the doc is going to call. I did get my phone back and nada. So I told Kevin that I’m going to let it go for now. I’m not dying so I’m good. If I’m still bleeding or hurting tomorrow I’ll make an appointment with my regular doc. If she feels I need to see the doc that did the surgery I’ll leave it up to her to figure that one out
The next day at 8:00 a.m. ~ Doc scheduled an ultrasound and an appt with her on Nov 17. Yeah! NOT
Those kind of ultrasounds hurt!!

Wow. Hmmmm….I wonder what that is about. I am so sorry you are still dealing with those health issues. Sigh. Being a woman is so hard.

I am so glad you are going in, but at least you can rest assured it isn;t something horrible, otherwise she wouldn’t make you wait 2 weeks for an appointment. I am sure you will be fine, but I will be thinking of you.
