And these are the days of our lives…
Beth
I’ve been home since Monday’s appointment. I’m a mixture of sore, hurting and depressed. Seriously, how many years do I have to keep having pain down there and continue to get violated!
As of February it will 2 years since I was told I was having the 1st surgery. I hope to go back to work tomorrow. Every moment I’m in this house it is harder for me to leave it.

My little man has a girlfriend. Tomorrow is her 13th birthday. He is so sweet. He asked me what to get her since he has no money or anything. I’m clueless.
I’m so far removed from 13. Thank goodness. So I told him to ask Lauren. Amazingly, he did! She had a little bracelet. She even wrapped it for him. Awww. Occasionally, they pretend to love each other.

The girl got her groundation extended. One of the conditions of her punishments was that her grades had to improve. Well, 4 out of 6 dropped. I’m so worried about her.
Her behavior has slipped. Her grades are dropping. Her friends haven’t changed. And the ones who are closest to her are good kids and are trying to watch out for her. She is now going to counseling every other week and there is a lot of discussion about being her own woman and not allowing peer pressure to influence her. So she is grounded to at least Christmas break.

Matty is so popular in school. I gotta say if I had to have a popular kid at least it is one who could care less about that kind of crap. His sped teacher told Kevin this morning that he is so popular that she has to come get him from the van each morning. The other kids were fighting over who got to get him in the mornings. She wasn’t about to wrangle with a schedule so she is just going to get him.
I guess they have the same problem in p.e. Everyone fights over who gets to partner with him. I”m glad middle school is treating him well.

Little Miss had her first real experience with bullying today. This kid on her bus told her if she didn’t hand over her capri sun he was going to start a rumor that she likes Joey.
Oh the joys of 4th grade. She handed it over. I asked her how Spencer, the bully, made her feel. She told me, “Mad, sad & thirsty.”
At least she is honest. So we talked about bullying and what to do. I hope next time she lets the duty teacher or bus driver know. I don’t want this kid to think he has power over her.

My poor hubby is on a 10-day run at work so he can get Thanksgiving weekend off. He is already wore out and he still has about 7 days to go.
I hope this weekend he can get home a little earlier than usual so he can get a nap in.
Plus he is dealing with me and all the kids drama (sigh). I just hope he realizes how much he is loved and appreciated around here.
